He re-emerged in quite some style as he was a second half sub in the swaggering 4-1 disposal of Amici di Berto, producing of the finest performances of the season as he came on the pitch when the scores were tied at 1-1.
His work was extremely good in the ensuing 2-2 draw against Sampierdarena, even trying to go for glory as he barely missed a chance from close range in one of a few rare forward heading pieces of play.
