come diceva Peppino Prisco la vittoria più bella è quella per 1a0 segnata al novantesimo su deviazione...e quidi si spera che l'undici gennaio proprio contro i massacroni....possa ricapitare..ehhe
Cosa si può aggiungere all'articolo del presidente?...direi solo una cosa:così come è successo nel 2008 che dopo tre vittorie(che poi sono state 13) si andava in toscana, anche quest'anno si può fare lo stesso...e dato che siamo a due....caricatevi che con i massacroni dobbiamo essere pronti a farne 3!!! Voglio sentire il coro....tutti dal buccia la-la-la-la-la-la....che per troppo non si è cantato..in più ci sarebbe una squadra di botoli ringhiosi toscanelli che ci vorrebbe fare il culo...io mi schiero con i pars quest'anno...vi ho già avvertito...

UN 2008 DA PARS...
Domani si chiude un 2008 che, per i fiori di Scozia in versione ligure, ha regalato molte luci e poche ombre.
Dal 9-1 inflitto agli Xeneixes al 3-0 rifilato al Granarolo Arci, è stato un anno solare che ha raccontato di una promozione sul campo, di un grande gruppo al di fuori di esso, ed un parziale ridimensionamento di entrambi gli aspetti, quello calcistico e quello umano, verso la fine dei dodici mesi.
Detto questo, abbiamo la possibilità di ripartire, nel 2009, con una ritrovata serenità, almeno in parte, e cercare, aldilà di obiettivi per così dire tecnici, di rendere giustizia ad un progetto, che rimane tale.
I nomi dei protagonisti possono anche cambiare, ma la sostanza deve rimanere intatta: dare il massimo in campo, divertirci, possibilmente vincere, ed essere un gruppo fuori dal rettangolo di gioco.
Abbiamo perso elementi di valore come Alessio Di Noto e Andrea Borreani, altri che si erano ben integrati nel sistema-Dunfermline come Giuseppe Buttitta, per qualche tempo siamo stati senza uno dei nostri fari, quel Marco Cantelli che ci ha trascinato fino a metà dei playoff 2007/2008 e che, ora, è tornato, fino al prossimo viaggio si intende...
Abbiamo, d'altro canto, acquisito individualità e personalità di tutto rispetto, come Mattia Maneschi, come Fausto Crosetti, e abbiamo appena scoperto che Fabio Boccaccio potrebbe aiutarci a fare un ulteriore salto di qualità.
A tutto questo, dobbiamo aggiungere gli attributi della vecchia guardia, composta dall'intramontabile Marco Semino, dalla difesa di ferro Filippi-Frassinelli, dal Buccia davanti, e da quella che spero possa tornare presto ad essere la coppia d'oro, Bova ed io.
Col ritorno di Cantelli saremmo anche più forti dell'anno scorso, ragione per la quale dobbiamo essere ottimisti e puntare più in alto possibile.
Infine, sarebbe bello riavere nello spogliatoio Gigi Vanin, al fianco di quell'essere esaurito mentale che è il nostro quarto (o quinto) portiere con la lavagnetta, Leonardo Perugini.

Buon natale e buone feste a tutti i pars
come sapete io sono di nuovo nel suolo natio e ieri sera vi ho pensato quando eravate a ubriacarvi tutti alla cena, tutti belli agghindati per natale...bravi...mi trovo in un momento riflessivo/adolescenziale/romantico...vi lascio una poesia che possa farvi riflettere...per iniziare al meglio il 2009....
Questa sera, allo stadio, la notte si agitava, popolata di diecimila ombre,
e quando i proiettori ebbero dipinto in verde il velluto dell'immenso campo,
la notte intonò un coro, nutrito di diecimila voci.
Infatti il maestro di cerimonie aveva fatto segno di iniziare la funzione.
L'imponente liturgia si svolgeva dolcemente.
Il pallone bianco volava da ministro a ministro come se tutto fosse stato minuziosamente preparato in precedenza.
Passava dall'uno all'altro, correva raso terra o volava sopra le teste.
Ognuno era al suo posto, ricevendolo alla sua volta, con colpo misurato lo passava all'altro, e l'altro era là per accoglierlo e trasmetterlo.
E siccome ognuno faceva il suo lavoro dove occorreva,
siccome forniva lo sforzo richiesto,
siccome sapeva di aver bisogno di tutti gli altri,
lentamente, ma sicuramente, il pallone avanzava;
e quand'ebbe raccolto il lavoro d'ognuno,
quand'ebbe riunito il cuore degli undici giocatori,
la squadra gl'impresse un soffio e segnò il goal della vittoria.
Dopo la partita, a stento l'immensa folla si disperdeva nelle strade troppo strette,
ed io pensavo, o Signore, che la storia umana, per noi lunga partita, per Te era questa grande Liturgia,
meravigliosa cerimonia iniziata all'aurora dei tempi, che terminerà quando l'ultimo ministro avrà compiuto l'ultimo gesto.
In questo mondo, o Signore, abbiamo ognuno il nostro posto;
allenatore previdente, da sempre Tu ce lo destinavi.
Tu hai bisogno di noi qui, i nostri fratelli han bisogno di noi e noi abbiamo bisogno di tutti.
Non ha importanza il posto che io occupo, o Signore, ma la perfezione e l'intensità della mia presenza.
Che importa che io sia avanti o indietro, se sono al massimo quello che debbo essere?
Ecco, o Signore, la mia giornata davanti a me...
Non ho riparato troppo sul fallo, criticando gli sforzi degli altri, le mani in tasca?
Ho tenuto bene il mio posto, e mi hai Tu incontrato sul campo quando lo guardavi?
Ho ricevuto bene il "passaggio" del vicino e quello dell'altro dall'altra estremità del campo?
Ho "servito" bene i miei compagni di squadra, senza giocare troppo personalmente per mettermi in mostra?
Ho "costruito" il gioco in modo da ottenere la vittoria con il contributo di tutti?
Ho lottato fino in fondo nonostante gli scacchi, i colpi e le ferite?
Non sono stato turbato dalle dimostrazioni dei compagni e degli spettatori, scoraggiato dalla loro incomprensione e dai loro rimproveri, insuperbito dai loro applausi?
Ho pensato di pregare la mia partita, non dimenticando che agli occhi di Dio questo gioco degli uomini è la funzione più religiosa?
Ora vado a riposarmi negli spogliatoi, Signore;
eomani, se Tu darai il calcio d'avvio, giocherò un altro tempo,
E così ogni giorno...

Fabio Boccaccio had a dream start to his Dunfermline career, as he scored a hat-trick which helped the Pars to their first home league of the season, with the Scots climbing up to fifth in the league in the process.
Managerless on the night, owing to the absence of gaffer Perugini, Dunfermline had Marco Semino in goal, with Fabio Frassinelli and Fausto Crosetti in defence and Davide Filippi deployed on the right flank. Aldo Marletta kept hold of his slot in the middle of the park, with new boy Fabio Boccaccio initially on the left flank and Alberto Buccianti playing the lone striker role.
Minutes into the first half, and his first game for the club, Boccaccio got hold of the ball along the left flank and fired home to establish the Pars in the lead.
Dunfermline had another couple of chances during a dull first half, but Granarolo, too, had their moments, Semino preventing them from equalising with at least two decisive diving saves.
Maneschi was introduced for Frassinelli towards the end of the first period, as Dunfermline's No 10 limped off with what appeared to be a knock on his right ankle.
HALF TIME: Dunfermline 1, Granarolo Arci 0
The second half got underway with Lenza replacing Buccianti, Boccaccio moved upfront and the winger in his usual position.
And Lenza did play a pivotal part as Dunfermline scored their second.
Marletta stole the ball in midfield and ran at the opponents' defence, before feeding the ball into the path of Lenza, whose square delivery met a prompt Boccaccio, who made a meal of his marker and coolly slotted home with a fine backheel shot to make it two-nil.
Granarolo didn't look any threatening and the Fifers took even more ground on the pitch, their supremacy being decisively capped off when Boccaccio fired his third with a smartly taken free-kick.
Marletta had another couple of chances to add to the scoreline, but he was denied by the keeper, and then by the upright as his left-footed long range effort hit the woodwork.

Aldo Marletta kept hold of his slot in the middle of the park, with new boy Fabio Boccaccio initially on the left flank and Alberto Buccianti playing the lone striker role.
Minutes into the first half, and his first game for the club, Boccaccio got hold of the ball along the left flank and fired home to establish the Pars in the lead.
Dunfermline had another couple of chances during a dull first half, but Granarolo, too, had their moments, Semino preventing them from equalising with at least two decisive diving saves.
Maneschi was introduced for Frassinelli towards the end of the first period, as Dunfermline's No 10 limped off with what appeared to be a knock on his right ankle.

The second half got underway with Lenza replacing Buccianti, Boccaccio moved upfront and the winger in his usual position.
And Lenza did play a pivotal part as Dunfermline scored their second.
Marletta stole the ball in midfield and ran at the opponents' defence, before feeding the ball into the path of Lenza, whose square delivery met a prompt Boccaccio, who made a meal of his marker and coolly slotted home with a fine backheel shot to make it two-nil.
Granarolo didn't look any threatening and the Fifers took even more ground on the pitch, their supremacy being decisively capped off when Boccaccio fired his third with a smartly taken free-kick.
Marletta had another couple of chances to add to the scoreline, but he was denied by the keeper, and then by the upright as his left-footed long range effort hit the woodwork.

As a goalkeeper, he's only lost one game in nine club appearances. Last night, he prevented the opponents from scoring a number of times and he was spot on.

Alberto Buccianti produced a vintage performance, scoring three times, as Dunfermline ended a losing streak stretching back to three successive league defeats.
The Pars contextually climbed back into the playoff zone, now established in sixth place ahead of Zena CM, the night's opponents.
Was it a convincing performance? Partly, it was. Was it a relaxed run out? Far from it, as the game's proceedings were tarnished with no remedy by a sort of frenzy which was sparked a few minutes from time, with Daniele De Maria and Matteo Bovalino sent off for Dunfermline and a red card hitting one of Zena CM's midfielders.
First things first, though, and Dunfermline's manager Leonardo Perugini had deploy himself in goal owing to the absence of No 1 Marco Semino. Davide Filippi recovered more quickly than expected from his neck injury and was in defence alongside Fabio Frassinelli, while Aldo Marletta was given back his centre-slot in midfield, joined on the flanks by Matteo Bovalino and debutant Daniele De Maria. FABIO BOCCACCIO A PAR
Midfielder Fabio Boccaccio has been signed by Dunfermline and will add to a package desperate to revive their season after a poor start which has brought only seven points out of as many league games so far.
Boccaccio was born in June 1985 and can be deployed on either flank in midfield, and, at least initially, he'll provide much needed cover (and miles) for a side struggling to find its identity.
Dunfermline take on Zena Caput Mundi on the Monday night encounter of Gameweek 8.

Si sta cercando di organizzare un'amichevole per giovedì 11 dalle 19 alle 20 nel campo sab giovanni in zona sanpierdarena. Il campo è grassa averlo trovato e quindi non si può spostare cerchiamo di essere il più numerosi possibile per scaldare un pò i motori per lunedi per l'ottava giornata di campionato. Fate sapere se ci siete che così si sa quanti esterni si deve chiamare per arrivare a 14.

potrei continuare ad elencare numeri all'infinito ma in una parola, abbiamo(e mi riferisco a chi in questo progetto c'è da più tempo) DIMENTICATO CHI SIAMO!
per i nuovi posso solo dire che vi siete ritrovati in uno spogliatoio un pò intristito e non per colpa vostra, e adesso ne subite le conseguenze anche voi, quindi sarebbe stupido puntare il dito su uno di voi che siete nel dunfermline da poco più di 2 mesi e quindi vi verrà da ridere a leggere queste parole o magari penserete ma questo chi si crede di essere (non dimentichiamoci che siamo a fare un campionato aics); però vi prego di fare attenzione perchè vorrei ricordare come questa squadra è nata: visto che delle "crisi d'identità" posso prendere e non c'è cosa migliore di fare un flash back e ritornare alle origini dove tutto ebbe inizio per superarle...e capire quali errori sono stati commessi.
era quasi un anno fa e l'uragano VISION(l'ex sponsor) si era abbattuto su di noi e stavamo per sciogliere la squadra. ci ritrovammo quelli rimasti in un anonimo salotto(che poi era casa mia) ed insieme decidemmo di non arrendersi e ci rimboccammo le maniche e iniziammo il campionato con grandi speranze ma poche aspettative in principio, ma animati da una gran voglia di far vedere quanto valessimo...e strada facendo diventammo coscienti della nostra forza e prendemmo fiducia per poi coranare il tutto con la promozione....
E ADESSO?!...cosa è successo? dove è finita quella voglia e quella convinzione nei propi mezzi? ok non abbiamo più un giocatore che l'anno scorso la buttò dentro 39 volte...ma qua non si parla di capacità balistiche o tecniche tattiche...si sta parlando di VOGLIA DI SACRIFICARSI per il bene comune, e VOGLIA DI DIMOSTRARE CHE NOI QUESTO CAMPIONATO CE LO SIAMO GUADAGNATO E CI MERITIAMO DI STARCI!!!
troppo facile per un popolo assediato trovare le forze per ribellarsi...cos'è siamo quel tipo di persone che se non hanno il cane da guarda che li sprona non reagiscono?
per come la vedo io ci vuole voglia e per avere voglia ci volgiono le MOTIVAZIONI quindi ognuno di noi faccia appello alla propria coscenza e in questi 15 giorni(benedetta pausa guardiamo di usufruirne) si chieda il perchè vuole partecipare a questo progetto.
io ci credo in questo gruppo perchè ho visto e conosciuto persone di spessore d'animo con cui vorrei finire questo progetto...mi sembrerebbe stupido buttare tutto all'aria e non me lo perdonerei...proprio perchè conosco questo gruppo so che non potremo durare nel passare un'annata a questi livelli e proprio perchè lo consosco so per certo che la vera faccia del gruppo dunfermline quest'anno non si è ancora vista....e quindi TIRIAMOLA fuori.
continuo a ripetere che chi non mi conosce mi potrebbe considerare esagerato(forse un pò fanatico lo sono) ma ho voluto usare di proposito la parola PROGETTO perchè per me(e sono sicuro che è così anche per altri) se si fanno le cose si fanno per bene...se no è inutile farle...e come in un progetto ognuno deve dare qualcosa giorno dopo giorno...in questo caso partita dopo partita...insomma chi ce le ha inizi a tirar fuori le palle

Last time Dunfermline had collected back-to-back losses dated back to the very beginning of the 2007/2008 promotion winning season, when Compagnia delle Indie and Las Cuevas, albeit following different paths, had left the Pars with no points from their two initial league games.
On Sunday, Dunfermline will be able to count on Marco Semino, who's widely foreseen to stage his comeback in goal following his two-game absence against Moranego and Anni Settanta, whereas the full package of defenders will most probably be available to manager Leonardo Perugini, who will select from Fabio Frassinelli, Davide Filippi, Fausto Crosetti and Alberto Pittaluga.
Aldo Marletta, Mattia Maneschi, Matteo Bovalino and Federico Gallo appear as the available options for the midfield berths, with both Flavio Lenza and Enrico Miroglio, the latter yet to make his debut for the club, ruled out with their niggling injuries.
Alberto Buccianti should be guaranteed a starting slot upfront, as he's at the moment the only out and out recognised striker.
Talking about Buccianti, the first-ever encounter between Dunfermline and WLF, dating back to the 2006/2007 season, marked the Tuscan striker's debut for the club, albeit in his capacity of manager, during the course of an unfortunate season which saw WLF attain promotion to Division B and The Pars failing to make the playoffs.
Moreover, Frassinelli's debut also came in that very match, a narrow defeat by one goal to nil that Fabio could've evened up had his spectacular overhead kick found the back of the net.

Dunfermline had a good chance early on as Maneschi played a great ball across the box, Marletta picked it up coolly but failed to find the back of the net with the ensuing effort.
Lanata pulled off a miracle of a save from a long range shot at the other end, as the teams looked very much on a balance throughout.
The Pars took the lead as a clearance from Lanata was intercepted by Buccianti, who fed the ball to Maneschi whose forward run was just brilliant, as was his finish on the chip.
Moranego hit the crossbar soon afterwards, shortly before Buccianti had a glorious chance saved by the keeper: Gallo's throw-in was brilliantly flicked on by Marletta onto the Tuscan striker, whose volley was blocked by the goalkeeper's shins.
The group forerunners hit the woodwork once more, while Dunfermline squandered another couple of chances, but just as the half-time whislte loomed, the visitors equalised courtesy of a brilliantly taken Poggi free-kick

With Maneschi re-introduced for Marletta, The Pars looked sharper and Frassinelli produced a rare goal, controlling the ball outside the area and firing home, straight into the top corner.

Fuori Marletta e di nuovo dentro Maneschi, con i Pars che guadagnano qualche metro, e con Frassinelli che trova un gran goal lanciandosi su una palla vagante fuori area, e spedendola alle spalle del portiere nell'angolino alto.
Lenza si infortunia e rientra Marletta, ma l'assalto finale porta in dote solo qualche occasione, la più grossa delle quali arriva all'ultimo secondo di gioco, con Frassinelli non molto fortunato con un colpo di testa che finisce alto.

Dunfermline crashed out of the Liguria cup last night, following a game which could've gone either way. The Pars produced a vintage performance either side of the interval and conjured up a glorious comeback from 4 goals down to set up yet another penalty shoot-out, but in the end they were made to pay for a dreadful start of the match, which saw them concede 4 goals in the initial 15 minutes or so.
Perugini deployed Semino in goal, Crosetti and Filippi in defence, with Maneschi in the central spot of midfield and Marletta and Bovalino either side of him. Buccianti completed the starting VII upfront and the match got underway under a Scottish rain.
Dunfermline had the first chance of the encounter as Bovalino brilliantly took a corner-kick, Marletta headed the ball from close range but Compagnia's keeper pulled off a great save.
Soon after that, Indie were in the lead, as a magnificent first-time collective move was capped off by a marvel of a strike from Catanzano, who left Semino with no possibilities.
As has always been the case so far this season, Dunfermline were on the back foot in the first half, and although they tried to hit back, they found themselves four-nil down before long, courtesy of three goals, almost identical in their shaping up, with The Pars' defence looking helpless in front of the free-flowing play shown by the Division C side.
It took something extraordinary to bring Dunfermline back into the game, but this side is absolutely unpredictable and Maneschi laid the first brick of the unlikeliest of comebacks from a neat free-kick, the ball being droven towards the far bottom corner to make it 4-1.
The 4-2 goal came shortly afterwards, as Bovalino fed the ball to Buccianti, whose control and through ball towards Marletta were simply magnificent. Marletta then looked at the keeper and smashed the ball past him from a very tight angle.
Then it was Buccianti's turn to get on the score-sheet before half time, and boy did he score a wonderful goal. Indie's defence, not helped by the damped pitch to their credit, failed to clear their lines properly, and along came the Tuscan striker, who unleashed a raging left-footed shot past the goalie from just outside the box to reduce his side's arrears to only one goal.
HALF TIME: Compagnia delle Indie 4, Dunfermline 3
Play was resumed and Dunfermline were sloppy once again, as they conceded a fifth minutes into the second half. Compagnia had once again Catanzano to thank, as the striker latched onto a throw in set piece and drove the ball past Semino at the far corner.
Funnily enough, it was another throw in that put Dunfermline back in business, as Crosetti's delivery was intercepted by Marletta, who controlled the ball with his head and then volleyed home to make it 5-4.
After a relatively quiet spell in the game, Dunfermline finally hit the long-awaited equaliser, as a brilliant through ball from Maneschi reached Buccianti, who once again showed his skills as he turned and lashed home from close range.
The unbelievable comeback now completed, The Pars even had a chance to go one ahead, but Marletta's powerful shot was saved by Compagnia's keeper.
Yet more twists had to occur, as the opponents found an incredible 6-5 goal following a collective counter-attacking move and set Dunfermline on the trail once more.
With only 2 minutes of stoppage time remaining, the most incredible event of a rather incredible night took place. Marletta received the ball from Semino, had a look around then went for it.
His long lobbing shot should've been saved by the keeper, but both Buccianti and Frassinelli, meanwhile on as a sub for Filippi, were gathering in front of him to prevent him from having a clear sight of proceedings. What mattered, though, is that the scores were once again level at 6-6, thus leading to the ensuing penalty shoot-out.
FULL TIME: Compagnia delle Indie 6, Dunfermline 6
Compagnia went on the spot first, and Semino was brilliant in denying their first kick-taker. Unfortunately, Buccianti wasn't any luckier and Pescatori, Indie's keeper, dived to his left to salvage even terms. Compagnia netted their second attempt, and so did Marletta. Crosetti levelled once more after Dunfermline's opponents were on target with their third spot-kick.
The shoot-out went then on to sudden death, and Semino couldn't prevent the fourth shot.
Then The Pars' keeper stepped up himself, but was denied by Pescatori, who handed his side a place in the cup's third round.

Il Dunfermline esce dalla Coppa Liguria, alla fine di un match palpitante che sarebbe potuto finire in ogni modo possibile.
I Pars forniscono una grande prestazione a cavallo dell'intervallo, ma alla fine pagano i primi 15 minuti da dimenticare, quando imbarcano acqua e goals, ritrovandosi sotto 4-0, prima che una straordinaria rimonta fissi il risultato finale sul 6-6.
Perugini schiera Semino in porta, Filippi e Crosetti dietro, Maneschi in mezzo al campo, con Bovalino e Marletta ai lati. Buccianti completa il VII iniziale.
Pronti via, e il Dunfermline ha subito una chance, Bovalino calcia un angolo alla grande, Marletta interviene di testa ma il portiere avversario respinge.
Poco dopo, la Compagnia va in vantaggio, con una splendida manovra tutta al volo che smarca Catanzano, il cui potente tiro lascia Semino senza scampo.
I Pars reagiscono, ma vengono puniti in contropiede, prima di affondare ancora di fronte ad un avversario che gioca in velocità, crea costante superiorità numerica e si ritrova sul 4-0 sempre con azioni che smarcano il cecchino di turno a pochi metri da Semino.
Gli Scozzesi, bagnati da una pioggia per l'appunto Scozzese, sono andati in svantaggio per primi in tutte le partite, in questa stagione, ma mai e poi mai avrebbero pensato di poter raddrizzare il match a questo punto.
Eppure, eppure c'è un Maneschi che indovina un'altra punizione, dopo quella di Domenica contro il Real Bonarda, e la palla si infila nell'angolo basso lontano, per il 4-1.
Pura consolazione, o anzi, il goal che accende la miccia, perché poco dopo Bovalino serve Buccianti, che stoppa e lancia Marletta in profondità, con un tocco di classe. Marletta si avventa sul pallone e di esterno destro batte il portiere avversario da posizione defilata per il 4-2.
Prima dell'intervallo, il Dunfermline riduce ancora le distanze, con Buccianti che segna un eurogoal, avventandosi su una palla vagante e liberando un sinistro micidiale da fuori area.
PRIMO TEMPO: Compagnia delle Indie 4, Dunfermline 3
La ripresa inizia e il Dunfermline sbanda nuovamente. Da azione di rimessa laterale, è ancora Catanzano, alla fine autore di un poker, a trafiggere Semino di sinistro.
Allo stesso modo, però, i Pars accorciano nuovamente le distanze, quando un fallo laterale di Crosetti viene lisciato da Contini, Marletta si avventa sul pallone, controlla di testa, e al volo batte l'estremo difensore avversario.
Dopo un periodo relativamente calmo della partita, il Dunfermline perviene addirittura al pareggio.
Merito di Maneschi, che gioca una splendida palla in profondità, e di Buccianti, che la raccoglie, si gira, e di destro deposita in fondo al sacco. Incredibile.
Addirittura, i Pars potrebbero portarsi in vantaggio, ma una conclusione di Marletta da fuori trova attento il portiere delle Indie.
Comunque, la strada si fa nuovamente tuttaltro che in discesa, quando la Compagnia si porta nuovamente in vantaggio, a seguito di un bel contropiede che si conclude con il 6-5.
Con solamente un paio di minuti di recupero a disposizione, accade la cosa più incredibile di una già incredibile serata. Marletta riceve palla direttamente da Semino, si guarda intorno e ci prova.
Tira dalla propria metacampo e la palla si insacca. Il portiere avrebbe, in verità, dovuto evitare di subire questo goal, ma viene disturbato da Buccianti e da Frassinelli, nel frattempo entrato per Filippi, e non riesce a vedere il pallone.
Quello che conta, in ogni caso, è il risultato, 6-6 e si va ai calci di rigore.

La Compagnia si presenta per prima dal dischetto, e Semino Para. Sfortunatamente, Buccianti non ha maggior fortuna e Pescatori lo ipnotizza. Indie a segno col loro secondo rigore, Marletta pareggia. Dunfermline had the first chance of the encounter as Bovalino brilliantly took a corner-kick, Marletta headed the ball from close range but Compagnia's keeper pulled off a great save.
Soon after that, Indie were in the lead, as a magnificent first-time collective move was capped off by a marvel of a strike from Catanzano, who left Semino with no possibilities.
As has always been the case so far this season, Dunfermline were on the back foot in the first half, and although they tried to hit back, they found themselves four-nil down before long, courtesy of three goals, almost identical in their shaping up, with The Pars' defence looking helpless in front of the free-flowing play shown by the Division C side.
It took something extraordinary to bring Dunfermline back into the game, but this side is absolutely unpredictable and Maneschi laid the first brick of the unlikeliest of comebacks from a neat free-kick, the ball being droven towards the far bottom corner to make it 4-1.
The 4-2 goal came shortly afterwards, as Bovalino fed the ball to Buccianti, whose control and through ball towards Marletta were simply magnificent. Marletta then looked at the keeper and smashed the ball past him from a very tight angle.
Then it was Buccianti's turn to get on the score-sheet before half time, and boy did he score a wonderful goal. Indie's defence, not helped by the damped pitch to their credit, failed to clear their lines properly, and along came the Tuscan striker, who unleashed a raging left-footed shot past the goalie from just outside the box to reduce his side's arrears to only one goal.
HALF TIME: Compagnia delle Indie 4, Dunfermline 3
Play was resumed and Dunfermline were sloppy once again, as they conceded a fifth minutes into the second half. Compagnia had once again Catanzano to thank, as the striker latched onto a throw in set piece and drove the ball past Semino at the far corner.
Funnily enough, it was another throw in that put Dunfermline back in business, as Crosetti's delivery was intercepted by Marletta, who controlled the ball with his head and then volleyed home to make it 5-4.
After a relatively quiet spell in the game, Dunfermline finally hit the long-awaited equaliser, as a brilliant through ball from Maneschi reached Buccianti, who once again showed his skills as he turned and lashed home from close range.
The unbelievable comeback now completed, The Pars even had a chance to go one ahead, but Marletta's powerful shot was saved by Compagnia's keeper.
Yet more twists had to occur, as the opponents found an incredible 6-5 goal following a collective counter-attacking move and set Dunfermline on the trail once more.
With only 2 minutes of stoppage time remaining, the most incredible event of a rather incredible night took place. Marletta received the ball from Semino, had a look around then went for it.
His long lobbing shot should've been saved by the keeper, but both Buccianti and Frassinelli, meanwhile on as a sub for Filippi, were gathering in front of him to prevent him from having a clear sight of proceedings. What mattered, though, is that the scores were once again level at 6-6, thus leading to the ensuing penalty shoot-out.

Compagnia went on the spot first, and Semino was brilliant in denying their first kick-taker. Unfortunately, Buccianti wasn't any luckier and Pescatori, Indie's keeper, dived to his left to salvage even terms. Compagnia netted their second attempt, and so did Marletta. Crosetti levelled once more after Dunfermline's opponents were on target with their third spot-kick.
The shoot-out went then on to sudden death, and Semino couldn't prevent the fourth shot.
Then The Pars' keeper stepped up himself, but was denied by Pescatori, who handed his side a place in the cup's third round.

Il Dunfermline esce dalla Coppa Liguria, alla fine di un match palpitante che sarebbe potuto finire in ogni modo possibile.
I Pars forniscono una grande prestazione a cavallo dell'intervallo, ma alla fine pagano i primi 15 minuti da dimenticare, quando imbarcano acqua e goals, ritrovandosi sotto 4-0, prima che una straordinaria rimonta fissi il risultato finale sul 6-6.
Perugini schiera Semino in porta, Filippi e Crosetti dietro, Maneschi in mezzo al campo, con Bovalino e Marletta ai lati. Buccianti completa il VII iniziale.
Pronti via, e il Dunfermline ha subito una chance, Bovalino calcia un angolo alla grande, Marletta interviene di testa ma il portiere avversario respinge.
Poco dopo, la Compagnia va in vantaggio, con una splendida manovra tutta al volo che smarca Catanzano, il cui potente tiro lascia Semino senza scampo.
I Pars reagiscono, ma vengono puniti in contropiede, prima di affondare ancora di fronte ad un avversario che gioca in velocità, crea costante superiorità numerica e si ritrova sul 4-0 sempre con azioni che smarcano il cecchino di turno a pochi metri da Semino.
Gli Scozzesi, bagnati da una pioggia per l'appunto Scozzese, sono andati in svantaggio per primi in tutte le partite, in questa stagione, ma mai e poi mai avrebbero pensato di poter raddrizzare il match a questo punto.
Eppure, eppure c'è un Maneschi che indovina un'altra punizione, dopo quella di Domenica contro il Real Bonarda, e la palla si infila nell'angolo basso lontano, per il 4-1.
Pura consolazione, o anzi, il goal che accende la miccia, perché poco dopo Bovalino serve Buccianti, che stoppa e lancia Marletta in profondità, con un tocco di classe. Marletta si avventa sul pallone e di esterno destro batte il portiere avversario da posizione defilata per il 4-2.
Prima dell'intervallo, il Dunfermline riduce ancora le distanze, con Buccianti che segna un eurogoal, avventandosi su una palla vagante e liberando un sinistro micidiale da fuori area.
PRIMO TEMPO: Compagnia delle Indie 4, Dunfermline 3
La ripresa inizia e il Dunfermline sbanda nuovamente. Da azione di rimessa laterale, è ancora Catanzano, alla fine autore di un poker, a trafiggere Semino di sinistro.
Allo stesso modo, però, i Pars accorciano nuovamente le distanze, quando un fallo laterale di Crosetti viene lisciato da Contini, Marletta si avventa sul pallone, controlla di testa, e al volo batte l'estremo difensore avversario.
Dopo un periodo relativamente calmo della partita, il Dunfermline perviene addirittura al pareggio.
Merito di Maneschi, che gioca una splendida palla in profondità, e di Buccianti, che la raccoglie, si gira, e di destro deposita in fondo al sacco. Incredibile.
Addirittura, i Pars potrebbero portarsi in vantaggio, ma una conclusione di Marletta da fuori trova attento il portiere delle Indie.
Comunque, la strada si fa nuovamente tuttaltro che in discesa, quando la Compagnia si porta nuovamente in vantaggio, a seguito di un bel contropiede che si conclude con il 6-5.
Con solamente un paio di minuti di recupero a disposizione, accade la cosa più incredibile di una già incredibile serata. Marletta riceve palla direttamente da Semino, si guarda intorno e ci prova.
Tira dalla propria metacampo e la palla si insacca. Il portiere avrebbe, in verità, dovuto evitare di subire questo goal, ma viene disturbato da Buccianti e da Frassinelli, nel frattempo entrato per Filippi, e non riesce a vedere il pallone.
Quello che conta, in ogni caso, è il risultato, 6-6 e si va ai calci di rigore.
FINALE: Compagnia delle Indie 6, Dunfermline 6
La Compagnia si presenta per prima dal dischetto, e Semino Para. Sfortunatamente, Buccianti non ha maggior fortuna e Pescatori lo ipnotizza. Indie a segno col loro secondo rigore, Marletta pareggia. Pareggia anche Crosetti dopo che gli avversari mettono dentro il loro terzo. Si va ad oltranza, Semino viene battuto al quarto tentativo, e poi si presenta egli stesso dal dischetto, ma Pescatori si supera nuovamente, tuffandosi sulla propria sinistra, e mandando la sua squadra al terzo turno.

This term, Dunfermline may not be as quality as they were last season, but they're surely not short of character and grit, which were ultimately the main factors making for their first hard-gained point of the season away to Real Sampie.
With no manager, owing to Perugini's absence, and no substitutes following the last minute injuries of newly acquired midfielders Flavio Lenza and Enrico Miroglio, and that of Mattia Maneschi, and that, widely foreseen, of Alberto Buccianti, the Pars put up a gritty performance to twice come back from behind and collect a 2-2 draw.
Gianluca Lanata was deployed in goal, with Fausto Crosetti and Davide Filippi composing the defence. Aldo Marletta was again in the middle of the park, with Matteo Bovalino and Fabio Frassinelli either side of him and Federico Gallo completing the lineup upfront.
Dunfermline looked on song from the word go, and Gallo provided Marletta with a peach of a delivery, only for the No 5 to lash slightly wide from an excellent position.
Real Sampie took the lead against the run of play as a Lucentini left footed free-kick found its way onto the back of the net from the left handside of the pitch.
Dunfermline hit back and Frassinelli had a couple of chances to equalise, before the half time whistle came, leaving the Pars with a one goal deficit to make up for.
Half Time: Real Sampie 1, Dunfermline 0
The second half got underway and Dunfermline, if not brilliant, were at least decent enough to pull off a fight.
Crosetti headed clear from a Real throw in, Marletta gathered the ball and fed it into Gallo's path, the forward timing his low drive perfectly to make it 1-1.
Lanata has some work to do, but Sampie's keeper's job wasn't any easier, Dunfermline creating the more and the better chances but failing to make them count.
From one of those, Real Sampie concocted a marvellous counter-attacking move which left Lanata with no possibilities as the ball strolled towards the back of the net.
Once again trailing by a goal, Dunfermline didn't lose their composure and sent their charges forwards, and deservedly found a leveller as Lanata played the ball into Marletta's path, with The Pars' midfielder waiting before sending a peach of a cross inside the box, only for Gallo to latch on the end of it to equalise once more.
Frassinelli had a glorious chance to seal the match for the Fifers, but his shot went over the bar following a neat through pass by Gallo.
The stand-in captain had yet another chance on the stroke of full time, as he headed the ball wide from a Marletta free-kick, but one point is good enough for the time being and a win just wasn't to be on the night.

I Pars si rigettano avanti, meritano il pareggio che arriva quando Lanata lancia direttamente con le mani Marletta, che aspetta il momento giusto per produrre un bel cross in area, sul quale si fionda ancora Gallo che di prima trova ancora il pareggio.
Ancora Dunfermline in avanti, gran palla di Gallo per Frassinelli e palla alta, poi ancora Frassinelli quasi allo scadere devia di testa un lancio di Marletta, con la palla fuori di poco.

Hard as it may sound, Dunfermline are not going to win 13 games in a row this year. End of story.
Division B may well be a tougher proposition than Division C, but the Pars seem to have forgotten how to win games, and although last night's performance wasn't either dreadful or disheartening, it is rather clear that the team are stumbling into their own frailty.
Perugini fielded Semino in goal, with Frassinelli and Crosetti composing the back two, Marletta, Bovalino and Gallo in the middle of the park and Buccianti completing the jigsaw upfront.
Dunfermline had more of the ball during the early stages of the game, Gallo's effort being parried away by Uruk Hai's keeper following a neat pass through from Marletta.
The Scots were knocking the ball about well, but still lacking a sort of finishing touch, which Uruk Hai applied, indeed, as they took the lead midway through the first period.
Uruk's forwards pushed on and a loose ball bounced off Marletta's thighs, only for one of the opponents to slash home from close range.
Dunfermline didn't look fazed, though, and they re-started proceedings looking the better side for a few minutes.
A series of back-to-back corner-kicks didn't produce much, but Bovalino had another glorious chance, with the opponents' keeper doing his best to keep the midfield player's effort out.
Just as it looked like Dunfermline were on the verge of equalising, Uruk Hai doubled their advantage, as Crosetti couldn't clear his lines properly and a midfielder struck home from long range, the dipping shot leaving Semino with little chance.

The second half got underway and Dunfermline pulled one back immediately.

Sunday's league curtain raiser is going to be the first ever meeting between Dunfermline and Uruk Hai, after both teams enjoyed a succesful start to the season in the Liguria Cup, where they disposed of fellow Division B sides Mojito FC and Sextum, respectively.
Both teams actually left it late, and went through on penalty kicks, Caridà scoring for Uruk Hai in a 1-1 draw, whereas Marletta, Buccianti and Gallo were on target for the Pars, as the scores were tied at 3-3 on the full time stroke.
Dunfermline will see the reinstatement of Marco Semino in goal, as the rotational policy concerning him and fellow keeper Gianluca Lanata will kick-in.
Defence-wise, Davide Filippi is going to serve a one-match-ban, following his caution against Alliance Utd in the 2007/2008 semifinal.
