As was the case for Frassinelli and Cantelli, Davide Filippi joined the ranks ahead of the 2006/07 Primavera Tournament, on the back of a first competitive season which, for the Pars, hadn't gone quite too well.
Similarly, that competition wasn't much of a success either, with Dunfermline failing to qualify for the knockout stages, but the foundations for the all-conquering 2007/08 season were laid.
And what a season he did have, as he was fully instrumental to the achievement of success, also scoring one goal in the process.
The 2008/09 season was good but not excellent for the Pars, but he improved on his scoring habits, as he found the back of the net on two occasions, notably he did backheel home in the thumping of Uruk Hai by 9 goals to 3 midway through the season.
He missed out on the whole Primavera tournament at the end of the season owing to the refitting of his newly built apartment, but he was back on the pitch as soon as pre-season started last month.
And what form did he show, he will once again be a stalwart of the team.
