ANALYSIS - Moro Populars

MARCO SEMINO
A surprising inclusion as he'd previously declared himself unavailable for the game, Marco let one in as Moro Populars took charge early on. His composure and personality, though, allowed him to bounce back from that earlier blunder and although he didn't have much to worry about, he helped his side to victory.

GIUSEPPE BUTTITTA
Parhaps his best performance of the season, the Sicilian defender handled his direct opponents effectively all match long. He often started his side's moves with a spot on choice of passes and crosses.

FABIO FRASSINELLI
Rock-solid, just as usual. He, too, tried to contribute to the attacking play of his side and did it well when required to do so. His handling of the back-pack is extremely mature, and tonight was no exception.

MATTEO BOVALINO
As always, he ran for two and was adept in his capacity. He also had one or two shots at goal, close enough to scare the opponents' keeper.

ALDO MARLETTA
Not at his best just yet, but he did reasonably well even when deployed on the left handside.
He scored from a brilliant free kick and was substituted following a knock on his head.

MARCO CANTELLI
He grabbed the goals that finished Moro off. His first goal illustrated how powerful he is, his second went to underline his composure. It's 39 for the season, and he doesn't appear to be done either.

ALBERTO BUCCIANTI
He had to sacrifice for the team, as he often does to good effect. He also had a couple of chances, and he'd have scored but for a last ditch clearance on the line. Excellent game, though.

ALESSIO DI NOTO
On the night, he probably put up a man-of-the-match performance, as his introduction on the pitch changed the completion of the game in Dunfermline's favour. A goal to make it all square just before half time and a brilliant run and assist to help Cantelli score the last goal of the match were his most remarkable contributions.

MANAGER LUIGI VANIN
He utilised his customary first half substitution for the first time in a while, which proved an extremely well worked move as Di Noto proved a major asset in midfield. He contextually shifted Cantelli upfront and Marletta on the left, and operated his rotation in style and with plenty of awareness.

REFEREE FARNETANI
He cheaply booked Di Noto, but his handling of the game was even, albeit too strict from time to time. Good performance, overall.
