GAMEWEEK 14 - Results / Review

LAS CUEVAS - AMICI DI BERTO 2-4
Bartolomeo, Chiari / Steiner, Calcagno (2), Castiglia
Las Cuevas couldn't stop table toppers Amici di Berto and slipped up to a second successive defeat. Meanwhile, Berto keep their one point cushion over current runners up Dunfermline, and have collected a string of 6 wins on the bounce, whilst Las Cuevas have been overtaken in 4th by Sampierdarena.

DUNFERMLINE - NEW REDS PONENTE 4-2
Buccianti, Marletta (3) / Ilardo, Stefanzl
Dunfermline's 12th win on the trot wasn't enough to fire the Pars to top spot, however that is clearly the longest running winning streak within the whole AICS fold. New Reds Ponente have contextually seen off any realistic chances of making the playoffs, drifting to 7 points behind 8th berth.

SAMPIERDARENA NCLM - LE CAFE 3-0
Ferrea E. (2), Dagnino / -
Samp are one of the in-form sides of the group, having collected five in a row now. It was the unlikelier of Ferreas (Enrico) who settled it with a brace, to add to a goal from Dagnino. On the other hand, Le Café have lost 3 out of 4 games against direct opponents, having conceded defeat once apiece to Amici di Berto, Dunfermline and Sampierdarena. This means the Blacks are now 6 points adrift of the top-two, and only 3 clear of Samp themselves.

ASTON VILLA SCASSI - NEVER ALONE SOCCER 3-9
Caviglia, Lo Piccolo (2) / Parodi (4), Dell'Olio (3), De Alexandris, Fusco
Never Alone thumped bottom side Aston Villa which, in spite of a 3 goal tally, conceded 9 to add to their misery. Never Alone continue on their recent run of form and get back to the top half of the table, courtesy of four goals from Parodi, a hat-trick from Dell'Olio and goals from De Alexandris and Fusco.

COMPAGNIA DELLE INDIE - INTERNAZIONALE 4-2
Own Goal, Zerbi, Pedullà L., Beretta / Biondi, Perasso
Compagnia went back to winning ways courtesy of an easy home win against second bottom Internazionale, that've long been without any hopes of pulling off a great escape towards the playoff. Compagnia are now in the comfort zone and sit 7 points clear of 9th placed New Reds.

BORUSSIA - XENEIXES 3-3
Mele, Pedemonte, Cocuzza / Gnecco (3)
Borussia kind of stumbled into 10th placed Xeneixes, as they failed to take advantage of a favourable round of games and only managed a home draw. A Gnecco hat-trick salvaged a point for a rejuvenated Xeneixes side, still 11 points adrift of the playoff zone but sparking a bit of life into the remainder of their campaign after this well-earned point. Borussia are level on points with Compagnia delle Indie in 7th berth.
