Well, it hasn't really sunken in yet. Not completely at least. Hours within our return from Scotland, the only thing I am definitely sure about is that we're a marvellous bunch of people, and we've achieved something other could only have dreamed of.
We went to Scotland, met Dunfermline AFC, greatly represented in style by Jim Leishman MBE, a man who gave us his kindness, his time, he gave us a great opportunity to live our dream.
His handling of our visit was as wonderful as we could only hope for, he showed us around and even brought us on the park where this whole project got started.
For that, and for what Dunfermline means to me - to us - I'll never be able to thank Jim enough.
Pictures of our visit are soon going to appear on this very website, however I think those pictures are rather clear in our hearts and minds already.
Jim, we surely hope we'll meet you again soon, you've been the hit of our season so far, entitling us to accomplish our destiny as a group. Or at least part of it, as the toughest bit of the season lies ahead of us and - as you correctly remarked - focus is needed in order to achieve what we want to achieve.
Sacrifice and grit are required no matter what the goal is... well I hope we'll be able to meet again next year and dissert our respective chances to make it to the respective top-flights.
Jim, Dunfermline AFC Genoa would like to thank you for making our dream real...
All the best
