NEVER ALONE SOCCER - Analysis

LEONARDO PERUGINI
He'd gotten the guys used to brilliant and reliable performances, however he stumbled in a bad night just as nearly all other lads did. Unfortunate as far as the second goal is concerned, he's not to blame though as performances were poor throughout on the night.

FABIO FRASSINELLI
This game had a particular significance for him, a kind of significance which didn't allow him to be at his best. He is still part of the best defence in the league, though, and he'll soon go back to his all conquering habits.

DAVIDE FILIPPI
Unusually nervous, he was probably caught in the bad tempo and rhythm of the game. He collected his first caution in a Pars' shirt, but as for Frassinelli he's part of the best defence in the league and will thoroughly make amends for last night's performance.

GIUSEPPE BUTTITTA
He's part of the best defence in the league as well, and his handling of last night's game, as he was sent on the pitch when things were getting more and more difficult to handle, proved his point for a bit more consideration on the part of the gaffer.

ALDO MARLETTA
His worst performance of the season in the league, couldn't pass, couldn't mark, couldn't connect well enough on his free-kicks. He got cautioned as he got trapped in the mind-games played by the opponents.

MATTEO BOVALINO
He scored a screamer to temporarily level things up at 2-2, and tried to contribute in what appeared to be a badly organised midfield pack. One of a few positive notes for the Pars on the night.

ALESSIO DI NOTO
He made his presence felt, and contributed to the guys' comeback with pace and passes. A surprise inclusion, owing to Borreani's last minute absence, but a good contribution.

MARCO CANTELLI
His quality wasn't as evident as in other occasions, but still he produced the goals to salvage a point for Dunfermline. Only great players can be decisive when they're not at their best.

ALBERTO BUCCIANTI
His performance will be best remembered for a great chance he had at the death, as he was denied by a miracle save from Never's keeper Arecco. He fought and fought, however he wasn't duly assisted by his team-mates.

GAFFER LUIGI VANIN
He got it all wrong this time, as he should've deployed 3 midfielders, however that's the least of it, as his orders and commands couldn't be either heard of received by the lads on the pitch.
However, to his credit, he most probably applied the correct counter-measures to rotate the lads, which is his highlight as a manager.

REFEREE PERELLI
He couldn't handle the game and allowed it to slip through his hands. He denied Dunfermline a blatant penalty kick as a Never's defender clearly handled the ball in the box at 2-2.
That let alone, he did nothing to prevent the game from being as edgy as it was.
