Dunfermline AFC are more than likely to soon be announcing the signing of goalkeeper Antonio Minnella from Division A side Virtusestri.
With Marco Semino doubtful for the playoffs and Leonardo Perugini fighting for fitness following a niggling knee injury, the Pars' board want to make sure the goalkeeping post is well covered ahead of the finals.
Currently in Virtusestri's fold, Minnella has declared himself available for a move which will entitle him to play for a side who are certainly aiming high, currently sitting on top of the Division C Group B table.
Talks and proceedings have been thus far brilliantly handled by midfielder and director Matteo Bovalino, whose signings' track record is absolutely magnificent with particular regard to keepers, considering he was responsible for luring Marco Semino to the club earlier this term.
Minnella should play another handful of games for his current club owing to the absence of the West Genoa outfit No 1 due to a rib injury, however it was Minnella himself who undertook all necessary steps to the transaction reaching a positive ending, with a formal confirmation expected in the course of the next couple of weeks.
The Board would like to stress how both Semino and Perugini have been, are, and will be instrumental to whatever goal or objective the club may set out, and that they're obviously encouraged to state about their availability over the next few regular season games.
