AMICI DI BERTO - DUNFERMLINE 1-4

The Pars annihilated previous table-toppers Amici di Berto, collecting their sixth win on the bounce, with an emphatic away victory which resembled more to a mauling than to a tight game.
Gaffer Wanyn named a side which surprisingly saw Buccianti on the bench, with Semino in goal, Frassinelli and Filippi in defence, the midfield package composed by Marletta, Di Noto and Bovalino, Cantelli starting upfront owing to a sore knee which would have ruled him out had he been picked to play wide on the flank, which he did, though, when Buccianti was thrust on the pitch.
Proceedings got underway and Dunfermline looked the better side from the word go, Marletta spurning a good chance from close range after having been put through by brilliant Cantelli.
Semino turned in yet another stunning performance, denying Amici's Steiner from a well taken free kick.
It was the Pars who took the lead through Marco Cantelli, as he fired home from outside the box, an effort which proved too much for the goalkeeper to parry.
Amici had a couple of chances from a couple of debatable free-kicks, before netting the equaliser through another Steiner free-kick just before half time.
Dunfermline seemed unfazed as the game resumed to a one-sided second half, which saw the Scots triumph in quite some style.
The players on the park looked as sharp as ever, the gaffer off it made an excellent work with his rotational policy, which was thoroughly applied and indeed worked to the team's advantage.
It took a stunning Clegg free-kick to re-establish The Pars' lead midway through the second half, the captain driving the ball past the keeper from outside the box in his customary style.
It was then 3-1 as Buccia produced a fine effort inside the box, only for a luck-less Amici defender to put the ball in his own net from close range.
Finally, Clegg took advantage of some sloppy defending and goalkeeping to record his first brace of the season and all but end any hopes Amici di Berto had of salvaging their unbeaten record.
