PREVIEW - Gameweek 10

NEW REDS PONENTE - AMICI DI BERTO (Referee: Nicolini)

New Reds will be on the hunt for another upset, after unexpectedly beating Never Alone last week. Amici di Berto, on the other hand, will be looking to take advantage from the encounter between 2nd placed sides Dunfermline and Le Café to bolster their cushion or, at the very least, keep hold of their top-spot position. New Reds are two points shy of the playoff zone and will look not to lose contact.

XENEISES - COMPAGNIA DELLE INDIE (Castillo)

Points would be vital for Xeneises' hopes to resurrect a playoff chance this terms. Compagnia failed to score at the weekend, in what ended up as a 1-0 home defeat to Las Cuevas.

That Xeneises have signed former Praese striker Alberto Mostes will only help revive their ambitions and league position, however Compagnia, albeit not at the best of their form so far this season, look the more likely to snatch all three points.

NEVER ALONE SOCCER - LAS CUEVAS (Ballacchino)

This is a proverbial six pointer. Never Alone surprisingly lost to New Reds last week, whilst Las Cuevas pulled off a great result by defeating Compagnia by 1 goal to nil.

Second placed Dunfermline and Le Cafè are out of reach either way just at the moment, however to lose this game would dent either side's hopes of making up for the lost ground in the race to the top-two.

SAMPIERDARENA - BORUSSIA (Sergini)

Samp were given a midweek blow, as they learnt the FA adjudged them to have breached signings regulations and therefore wrote off their hardly gained point against Dunfermline.

On the other hand, Borussia coasted to victory, thrashing bottom side Aston Villa 8-1 in a one sided encounter.

Owing to the FA decision, Sampierdarena are only two points above the non playoff zone, whilst Borussia will be looking to extend their good run of results and not lose contact with the top-two.

INTERNAZIONALE - ASTON VILLA SCASSI (Monteiro)
Internazionale will be on the back of a draw against fellow strugglers Xeneises, whilst Aston Villa are still without a point in 9 games and showing little sign of improvement, even though their goalscoring ratio has slighly gotten better of late. However, it is easy to predict a home win for this match.
