Group B new leaders Le Cafe had it the easy way against bottom and pointless side Aston Villa Scassi, getting past them with a thunderous 8-1 win.
Even better news for Le Cafe came from Pegli, where 3rd place Dunfermline mauled former front-runners Amici di Berto, collecting their sixth win on the trot by 4 goals to 1 in what had been foreseen as a very tight game.
Such a win means that, should Dunfermline beat Sampierdarena next Sunday, they'll move to second spot, as Le Cafe and Amici di Berto take on one another in a six-pointer.
Elsewhere, Compagnia delle Indie easily had the better of New Reds Ponente (0-8), now 5 points adrift of the playoff zone, returning to the massive scoreline modality which characterised many of the Reds' games last term.
Never Alone kept up the pace of both Le Cafe and Dunfermline, beating a dipping form Xeneises side by 6-2, with a convincing performance which saw the black outfit maintain 4th place and Xeneises slip further down the table, now 6 points adrift of the playoff spots.
Las Cuevas were good enough to see off opposition from inconsistent Sampierdarena, contextually leapfrogging the West Genoa outfit, now sitting 8th and on the look-out for a more constant run of results.
Finally, the Monday night encounter saw Borussia thrash second-bottom Internazionale in a derby which looked much like one way traffic, as the pink team defeated their local rivals by 6 goals to 1, to reach Compagnia and Las Cuevas and pip Sampierdarena to the post.
