Dunfermline made it five in a row, with their thumping of Xeneises, which couldn't live up to the expectations of those who foresaw that they would have provided much tougher opposition.
It was one way traffic instead, and once the Pars found the back of the net through Marco Cantelli in the 12th minute, they had it in plain sailing modality.
Alberto Buccianti scored the much coveted 100th goal in the club's history, after Cantelli neatly put him through in front of goal.
The best goal of the night came again through Cantelli, who turned on the volley in style with his left, directly from a Filippi delivery from a throw in. That was just marvellous.
It was a good combination between Marletta and Cantelli which allowed the Pars' captain to score his third of the season and twentieth for the club just before the half time break.
HALF TIME: Dunfermline - Xeneises 4-0
Proceeds were resumed in much the same way they'd been interrupted, Di Noto scoring from just outside the box to make it 5-0.
It was then Buccianti again, making it six from close range after the goalkeeper had blocked his first attempt.
Di Noto quickly added to his and his team's tally with two well-craftet goals, either side of the consolation goal grabbed by Xeneises from a neat free-kick.
The final whistle coincided with Frassinelli's fine blast into the roof of the net, making it 9-1.
