AMICI DI BERTO - Analysis

MARCO SEMINO
He encountered the same sort of difficulties he had incurred against Xeneixes, yet again he wasn't protected by his team-mates and barely had any chances of a save on any of Berto's goals.

FABIO FRASSINELLI
He surely is one of the best players of the side, therefore his faltering moment, as indeed that of some of his most notable team-mates, has to be assessed and overcome. He was unlucky to concede an own goal, and broadly suffered from a lack of togetherness on the pitch.

DAVIDE FILIPPI
He was given a hard time on the 4-1 goal, but it's hard to blame the defensive duo only when a team concedes six goals.

GIUSEPPE BUTTITTA
He kept his composure and tried to spark some sense into the team when introduced in the second half. Even so, he couldn't prevent his team conceding heavily.

ALDO MARLETTA
Probably at his lowest this season. His free-kicks weren't exactly spot on, let alone when he hit the post, and generally speaking his moment summarises the team's one - not good at all.

MATTEO BOVALINO
He scored a consolation goal at the death, and huffed and puffed on the pitch for the best part of the game.

ALESSIO DI NOTO
He tried to contribute to a much coveted comeback, unfortunately football is a team sport and although his performance wasn't bad, he couldn't turn things around as his teammates didn't help him much.

MARCO CANTELLI
Had it not been for him, The Pars would've lost two in a row now. Unfortunately, he was kicked around for most of the game, and didn't find spaces to run into to wreak havoc as he usually does.

ALBERTO BUCCIANTI
He did well. Scored the opener, which would've let one hope for a better final outcome, hit the crossbar with a great header, and although he missed a clear-cut chance he tried to help his team all game long.

GAFFER VANIN
It's hard to manage a team capable of everything that, all of the sudden, comes across a bit of a blip.
He couldn't have handled things differently, as the players at his disposal seem to be on a downtrend at the minute, the only positive to take out of this game represents league figures: 15 wins, 1 draw, 3 losses.

REFEREE GAMBINO
Much had been made about the man in black's experience at this level, however his performance left people baffled and disappointed.
To his credit, though, none of his decisions directly affected the result of the game.
