DUNFERMLINE - INTERNAZIONALE 9-3
Di Noto (3), Marletta (2), Own Goal, Buccianti, Cantelli, Filippi / Noli (2), Cerlati
Dunfermline romped to an easy win and relegated Internazionale to the bottom spot in the league, while contextually continuing on their positive run of results, which has now reached 15 games without a loss, and going back to winning ways after a somewhat disappointing draw against Never Alone Soccer. Dunfermline are still top of the league, still level on points with Berto, but now holding a better goal difference in the matches against their rivals, and also a better goal difference altogether.
AMICI DI BERTO - BORUSSIA 3-2
Calcagno, Cappa, Bruzzone G. / Motta (2)
Berto gained a priceless, albeit hard-fought, victory against a Borussia side now on a very poor string of results, but somehow safer than a couple of weeks ago courtesy of the massive point deduction incurred by Le Café and their consequent downfall to 10th place.
Berto keep on chasing title glory and the next couple of weeks are going to be absolutely decisive in such a respect.
COMPAGNIA DELLE INDIE - SAMPIERDARENA 5-6
Pedulla M. (2), Zerbi, Contini, Pedulla L. / Timossi, Manzano (4), Ferrea A.
It was Manzano who stole the show this time around, his 4 goal performance giving Samp an edge over brave Compagnia. Sampierdarena are still 7 points adrift of the top-two, however they can count on the match between the forerunning teams in two weeks' time, just a week before they play host to Dunfermline in what will surely be an interesting encounter. Compagnia couldn't boost their league table tally, however they certainly produced an encouraging performance and are still comfortably in the playoff zone.
NEW REDS PONENTE - LAS CUEVAS 4-4
Ilardo (2), Cicero, Mongiovì / Chiantella, Acquarone, Tavella, Leger
A rejuvenated New Reds side attained yet another good result by holding 4th placed Las Cuevas to a spectacular 4-4 draw. After having benefitted from Le Café's point deduction, New Reds are now relatively safe, as they hold a six point cushion over 9th placed Xeneixes and Le Café themselves. Las Cuevas have contextually moved up to 4th, but their top-two hopes have all but ended after failing to win this encounter.
LE CAFE - NEVER ALONE SOCCER 5-8
Monaca (2), Pintimalli (3) / Ruffino (2), Parodi (2), Dell'Olio (3), De Alexandris
Doom and gloom on and off the pitch, as far as Le Café are concerned. After having incurred a 19 point deduction for the unlawful fielding of a player - under a false name - the Blacks seem to have given in and they allowed Never Alone to put in a free-scoring performance. Le Café are going to require a miracle if they're to qualify for the playoffs now, whereas Never Alone are in the comfort zone, and only need two further points to seal their qualification.
XENEIXES - ASTON VILLA SCASSI 3-4
Cipani, Lovisa, Own Goal / Lenti, Frustaci, Tezza (2)
Xeneixes squandered a glorious chance of putting up a bit of a comeback for the playoffs. Had they won their game, they would've moved within 3 points of 8th place, however they slipped up and gave Aston Villa something to cheer on ahead of next year. In actual fact, Villa - credit to them - have now left the bottom spot courtesy of their only second win in the league. Xeneixes face Dunfermline next
