A tenacious Xeneixes side scared The Pars to death, as the table-toppers were trailing by 4 goals to 2 with only minutes remaining. Cantelli produced a stunning 5-goal performance to give The Pars their 15th win in 18 games, and Dunfermline are now topping the table on their own, courtesy of a half-slip up incurred by Berto. Xeneixes put in a great performance on their part, and were unlucky not to take anything from the game

Compagnia came to The Pars' rescue, by collecting an unexpected draw away to Amici Di Berto, just one week before the home side take on Dunfermline in what will most probably be a mouth-watering encounter. Compagnia have now secured a playoff berth, as 9th placed Le Café only managed a draw and are now 14 points adrift with only 4 games remaining in the regular season.

LE CAFE - LAS CUEVAS 2-2

Le Café's quest for an incredible comeback towards the playoffs, following their massive point deduction, has encountered yet another hurdle, as Le Café were good enough to hold on to a 2-2 draw. Las Cuevas are virtually out of the "Excellence Playoff" run, but are self-assured in 4th place, whereas the Blacks' season appears to be close to an end with 7 points to make up for and only 4 games left.

NEVER ALONE SOCCER - BORUSSIA 9-0

Never Alone continued on their recent run of form and demolished a dipping Borussia side by gaining an early whistle win. Never are now 5th, having taken full advantage of Compagnia's draw away to Berto, and have secured a playoff berth themselves, whilst Borussia are now 8th and on an extremely poor form, but still 7 points clear of the non playoff zone.

NEW REDS PONENTE - ASTON VILLA SCASSI 3-0

Courtesy of this win, New Reds have now reached their highest position in the league for quite some time, and under the circumstances they'd still be in the playoff zone, even if Le Café hadn't incurred their 19-point deduction. Their cushion over the Boschetto-based side is now 8 points which appears more than enough to land a playoff spot.

INTERNAZIONALE - SAMPIERDARENA 0-4 (by FA decision)
The game between the bottom side and Excellence Playoffs hopeful Sampierdarena wasn't played out, as Internazionale failed to clear their position with the FA, following the fine the had incurred amidst violent play on the part of their main marksman Francesco Argirò.
Sampierdarena have thus gained 3 vital points which will come in handy in their quest for a top-two spot.
