ANTONIO MINNELLA
On his competitive debut, he fared reasonably well and produced a string of fine saves. As to the goals he conceded, he couldn't have done much more, but he kept his cool and commanded his defence effectively.

GIUSEPPE BUTTITTA
He partly marred one of his best performances of the season by conceding 3 free-kicks which amounted to as many goals scored by the opponents. However, he took control of the defence and did well.

DAVIDE FILIPPI
His first half performance was absolutely scintillating, whilst he got a bit nervous during the second period and collected a yellow card. All in all, reliable and dependable as usual.

FABIO FRASSINELLI
He only had a handful of minutes, as he was introduced for Filippi minutes into the second half and was litterally knocked down by a fierce shot that struck his head.

MATTEO BOVALINO
He ran, huffed and puffed, created a few interesting openings and, just as usual, he provided cover for his defence. Another spot on performance from a quality midfielder.

ALESSIO DI NOTO
He hit the ground running, his initial 15 minutes widely showing why he's absolutely necessary to the team. His delivery for Cantelli's first goal was simply marvellous and he also went close to scoring once or twice.

MARCO CANTELLI
Well, it is rather obvious he produced a man-of-the-match performance, considering he scored 4 goals and somewhat contributed to Buccianti's one as well. He is the highlight of the team, and he's now reached 34 goals in the season. On such basis, he'll reach 40 sooner rather than later.

ALBERTO BUCCIANTI
His moment is absolutely positive and he showed that once more, by providing Cantelli with a great chest assistance and then scoring his goal in customary style.
He's definitely ready for the finals.

GAFFER VANIN
He was left with little choice, as Marletta was disqualified, Semino unavailable and Borreani missing out through other duties. He rotated his staff well and witnessed the debut of newly acquired goalkeeper Minnella.

REFEREE MONTEIRO
He didn't have much to do on the night, however his caution distribution was debatable. He didn't affect the run of the game, to his credit.
