INTERNAZIONALE PULL OUT

Division C Group B bottom side Internazionale have pulled out of the league after failing to clear their position in respect to a fine they were condemned to pay following a report of violent conduct on the part of their Captain Francesco Argirò, who headbutted referee Sanchez following his dismissal in a league game.

Bemusingly, this also means that the 9-3 result on the pitch attained by The Pars a couple of weeks ago has been turned into a 4-0 win following the application of a clause in the FA regulations, stating that all games played out by a team pulling out of the league at whatever stage, during the same round of play - gameweek 12 to gameweek 22, that is - are to be considered as 4-0 defeats for the side who've pulled out.

As a consequence, Dunfermline's total goal difference has been reduced from +52 to +50, and and it's no longer the best one in the group.
As it happens, many of the teams involved in the group were affected by the same issue, not Berto, though, who had only managed a 7-4 win and have now been handed a further point in their goal difference.
