MARCO SEMINO
A welcomed return to the fold and the starting lineup, Marco found some difficulties here and there, however his presence will be absolutely necessary as the final part of the season has already gotten underway and a few big games lie ahead of the lads.
GIUSEPPE BUTTITTA
He did reasonably well in the first half, by snuffing out a few attacks, whereas he got involved in a few too many collective moments of madness during the second period.
FABIO FRASSINELLI
He got cautioned, in a debatable manner as well, during the early stages of the game. That let alone, he tried to spark some sense into the back pack, but was often left to battle it out alone.
DAVIDE FILIPPI
Not his best performance in a Pars' shirt, but his value is out of the question and he'll surely go back to his usual ways soon.
MATTEO BOVALINO
The midfield pack was left in disarray but the continuous, and unexplainable, moves which were started from the back, something the lads hadn't been used to for quite a while. He produced a fine cross to entitle Cantelli to score his 3rd.
ALDO MARLETTA
As for Bovalino, he struggled to see any reasons why the game plan differred from the previous encounters. After a somewhat decent first half, he vanished as well as the rest of the team.
MARCO CANTELLI
He simply stole the show, took the team on his shoulder and single-handedly grabbed a vital win. He scored with his right, with his left and hit the woodwork with a smart header. He fought all game long and he won it for the lads.
ANDREA BORREANI
Much more was expected of him, but he couldn't find the right space to run into. To his credit, he wasn't helped much by the rest of the team either.
ALBERTO BUCCIANTI
He tried to help upfront, but was constantly let down by some poor passing on the part of the midfielders.
GAFFER VANIN
If there's anyone, aside from Cantelli, to be credited with some merit for this win, that's the gaffer this time around.
With a couple of players who arrived at the pitch later than expected, he patched up a side who found themselves in front at the end of the first half. He was then spot on as he moved Cantelli upfront, a choice which surely paid dividends.
REFEREE CIRINA
The game wasn't too much of a cracker, nor was its tempo unsustainable.
He did reasonably well, although he should've sent Firpo off for kicking the ball far from the pitch after scoring the 3-2 goal. He cautioned Frassinelli for a foul that didn't appear that serious, but his performance as a whole was not bad at all.
