GAMEWEEK 21 - Results / Round Up

DUNFERMLINE - LE CAFE 5-4
Cantelli (4), Buccianti / Scaramuccia, Pintimalli (2), Frascatani

Courtesy of an old-fashioned all gritty display, Dunfermline retained top spot at the weekend, Cantelli proving too hot to handle and contributing to his team's win with 4 goals. Dunfermline will now have to win the final game of the season, against Borussia, to be certain they win the league group. Le Café saw their final hopes of making the playoffs vanishing, following their 19-point deduction, and the certain win against Internazionale - who've pulled out - next week won't be enough to make up for the 6-point gap currently separating them from 8th placed New Reds.

AMICI DI BERTO - NEW REDS PONENTE 5-3
Guastavino (3), Calcagno, Bruzzone G. / Ilardo, Germano, Stefanzl

New Reds are now certain of a playoff berth weekend defeat notwithstanding. This is because rivals Le Café were beaten by table-toppers Dunfermline, still holding a two-point cushion over 2nd placed Amici Di Berto who, though, have now reached formal certainty of their top-two status and the ensuing partaking into the Excellence Playoffs.
Should Amici di Berto win their final game of the regular season, against 2nd bottom Aston Villa Scassi, anything but a Dunfermline's win will seal their league-winning bid.

BORUSSIA - SAMPIERDARENA NCLM 2-2
Reboli, Vitiello / Ferrea A., Berveglieri
After going back to winning ways against Aston Villa, Borussia snatched a morale-boosting point against Sampierdarena, who have now officially abandoned any hopes of making the top-two but look eagerly set for their promotion bid via the Premium Playoffs.
Borussia will finish either 7th or 8th depending on their final game of the regular season against front-runners Dunfermline.

LAS CUEVAS - NEVER ALONE SOCCER 2-8
Bartolomeo E. (2) / Parodi D. (4), Dell'Olio (3), Ruffino

Las Cuevas dropped two positions following a 2-8 home defeat at the hands of an absolutely in-form Never Alone side, who've moved up to 4th in the process.
Cuevas are now without a win in 4 games, and on a dangerous downtrend ahead of the forthcoming finals, while their opponents look set to undertake a massive campaign with a look to a possible promotion slot.

COMPAGNIA DELLE INDIE - XENEIXES 5-1
Own Goal, Astrua, Pedullà M., Guerrieri, Catanzano / Cipani

Compagnia slaughtered Xeneixes and moved up to 5th place after collecting a resonating home win against Xeneixes, who've long been without any real season targets.
It took the St Desiderio-based side a while to get back to their best, but they're finishing the regular season on a high and they'll surely be one of the main features of the Premium Playoffs.

ASTON VILLA SCASSI - INTERNAZIONALE 4-0
The game wasn't played out as Internazionale pulled out about three weeks ago.
Aston Villa, facing 2nd placed Berto on the regular season's final matchday, have collected 3 easy points bringing their tally to 9 for the season.
